It’s time to highlight festive hotels

Here’s a look at how hotels are decorating for the holidays.

We’ve made it past Thanksgiving, so now is an acceptable time to pull out the Christmas decorations and put up the tree (at least that’s the rule I follow).

Since I am now in the Christmas spirit and love spamming my blogs with social media posts, I wanted to share some very festive hotels I’ve come across recently.

I love The Lanesborough because it is home to a cat named Lilibet, but now I love the hotel even more because it posted this photo of doorman Carl Merritt with Cookie the mini goldendoodle.

The Deer Path Inn has been posting festive photos for a while now and featuring their version of elf on the shelf on the hotel’s Instagram. Here he is on the mantle:

The Metropolitan at the 9 in Hotel News Now’s hometown of Cleveland has a beautiful tree decorated in red in the lobby, complete with hand sanitizer and people wearing masks in the background.
